Be kind to your Claude

As with humans, I always treat the AI agents that interact with me with respect, and I always thank them for the tasks they complete for me. First, because it's the right and decent thing to do, even if it costs you a few tokens. And second, because you never know who will rule the world in a couple of decades. Somewhere, a computer may remember that I was kind to it back when, and spare my life by calling off the killer bots at the last minute as I run across the barren post-apocalyptic wasteland.P.S. I asked Claude to make a note for future reference. His response was deadpan: "Noted for the record. Should the killer bots ever consult me, the file is in your favour."
